Vintage 1950s John Hagarty Black Cape Pure New Wool Irish Handwoven Tweed With Hood and Pink Nylon Lining Made in Ireland

Item:  A John Hagarty brand Women's vintage Cape.

Condition:  Pre-owned and it's in very good condition for it's age.   It doesn't show signs of any excessive wear.  There are no holes or stains noted on it.   There is a leftover metal dry cleaning barb on on side.  It was an Estate find from the original owner. 

This is a terrific vintage fashion item that is of heavier weight for colder weather wear.  It would also make a great costume idea for Halloween, a theater play, movie, etc.

Era:  1950s or 1960s. 

Color:  Solid Black. 

Material:  Pure new Wool, Irish handwoven Tweed.

It was made in Ireland. 

It has a bright pink colored Nylon lining.

It has a hood that has ruffled edges.

There is a collar inside at the neck and shoulders level. 

It has a button and snap closure at the neck area of the hood. 

Measurements:  

     - Overall length in the back, top of hood to bottom hem:  71".

     - Hood:  17" long.  

    - Width across the back under the hood seam:  23".

    - Width across front inner area at shoulders when open:  Approximately 30".
